Kinda Fit…. The name I think is self- explanatory and describes me to a tee! I am Kind of Fit. I work out regularly but only have a 2 pack of abs on a good day because I have an everlasting love affair with sweets. Furthermore, i’m fairly unbalanced. I can squat 225 pounds with ease but my arms visibly shake when curling a 10 pound dumb bell. And if that’s not sad enough for you, every Saturday I jog 6 miles (grant it I barely move faster than a snail moving across concrete on a hot summers day) but if you put me in a spin class I can’t make it 7 minutes.
Kinda get the picture? I’m kinda in shape. You see health and fitness is a lifestyle and I commend those who are 100% dedicated. But I must be candid. I am not that person. In fact I once tried the Herbalife program and while I did manage to lose 12 pounds in 10 days, I laugh when I think of the success I could had if I didn’t add Reece’s Peanut Butter cups to the blender for extra “protein”. After all it had peanut butter in it.
But I digress.
If you are looking for a blog that is completely dedicated to the health and fitness lifestyle, close your browser and BACK AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER because this isn’t it. Don’t get me wrong, despite my stubbornness and refusal to be 100% vested in the H & F lifestyle, I do however still have an interest in looking decent naked and living a long, happy and healthy life. I just have zero desire to eat little trees also known as broccoli everyday.
So if you are like me, you have come to the right place.The purpose of this blog is to share some tips, exercises, foods and occasional laughs at my expense on how I maintain my Kinda Fit lifestyle and physique. But I must warn you, I am not a nutritionist nor am I a personal trainer. Actually like many Americans I sit behind a desk 60- 70 hours a week and move paper back and forth from the left side to the right side. The information i’m sharing is not advice, its just what I use to maintain my lifestyle and maybe will inspire you as well.
