Why Start This Blog
The goal was to create a community of women (fellas you can join too) like myself. We are not body builders, bikini models or fitness gurus. We are entreprenuers, professionals, students, moms and superwomen who’s main goal is to maintain overall health and be comfortable and confident in the skin we’re in. We eat food that makes us smile, train for the “Damn she’s hot!” and we stick a middle finger up to societies standards of a “fit body”
We have three main focuses…
Eating Well
Life is all about balance. While hummus and bean sprouts are the better option, that is no way to live life. I cringe at the thought of never being able to indulge in comfort foods and delightful desserts. The goal here is to provide ideas on how to balance the best of both worlds.
Training
Whether it’s training on your own, watching YouTube videos, cross fit, HIIT, hot yoga or spinning, training is important. Training is necessary for cardio health, muscle tone, strength, confidence, empowerment and most importantly “head turns and commentary.
Whole Body Health
We only focus on eating well and training. We often negelect mental health, skin care and beauty regime. The importance of sleep habits and meditation are forgotten. However, whole body health, eating well and training are all necessary for us to operate at our best.
Who Am I?
I am the person that constantly reminds the world that fries are vegetables!!!! After all they are potatoes right? Ok well maybe it doesn’t actually work that way. Oh and maybe a potato is a starch and not a vegetable.
Lets face it, a healthy lifestyle can be both confusing and difficult. At least for me it is. Over the past few years, I’ve developed a passion for living a healthi”ER” lifestyle. It’s not completely healthy but its alot healthier than it used to be. So I was inspired to write this blog because for some reason, I am certain that you want to hear all about my struggle as I travel this road to a healthier me.
